# What Do the Impact Colors Mean on a Forex Calendar?

Every event on a forex calendar carries a color or star rating. It's a quick visual signal of how much **volatility** to expect — and therefore how much attention an event deserves.

### 🔴 Red — High Impact
These events regularly move the market 50-150+ pips and can reverse trends:
